Various camera adapters, especially for C/CS mounts, such as the Raspberry Pi HQ camera, but also many small astronomical or micoscopic cameras have. The C/CS mount is widely used for cameras/sensors in scientific and technical fields and offers a wide range of interchangeable lenses. Depending on the field of application, the following adapters are useful for this purpose:
The C-Mount to 1.25" focuser (telescope) adapter can be screwed into the C-mount thread of the camera and then clamped into the 1 1/4 inch focuser like a usual eyepiece. Thus, the telescope turns directly into a camera lens. The advantage is that no eyepiece projection is necessary, which brings additional aberrations. The disadvantage is that due to the fixed focal length of the telescope, there is no possibility to enlarge or reduce the image section.
The CS-Mount to 1.25" Adapter has an integrated distance ring of 5 mm and is only needed if a corresponding corrector is pre-mounted where the flange focal distance plays a role.
Also helpful is the protection cap on the C-mount thread of the camera and the CS/C-mount adapter ring, which shifts the flange focal distance of CS cameras by 5mm. This turns a CS camera into a C-mount camera.

To protect the camera sensor against dirt, this protective cover can be screwed onto the C-Mount thread: The cover can be downloaded here at www.Thingiverse.com.
For correction of the flange focal distance from CS- to C-Mount you can use the CS/C-Mount adapter. It has a C-Mount thread on both sides and extends the flange focal distance by the required 5 mm. The adapter can be downloaded here at www.Thingiverse.com.
